The adjective chic (pronounced sheek) comes from French. It means conforming to the current fashion, stylish, or sophisticated.

I am Tasheika - "Sheek" the owner, curator and vision behind Sheek Vintage.

My passion for vintage clothing blossumed in 1999, after frequenting local thrift and consigment stores (and shopping my Moms' stylish closet for 80's & early 90s GEMS), I quickly learned how to source sustainable clothing.

My vision as a stylist created opportunities to pair my vintage finds with modern clothing items to curate my personal style - which relates to current fashion trends. This, is the insipration behind Sheek Vintage Boutique. It's my mission and dream to help break stereotypoes about "used clothing" by sharing my vision with the world.
